Rhythm has been the driving force of Pete Lee’s life for over five decades. Growing up in 1960s Long Island against the backdrop of Motown, R&B, and soul, he developed a deep, inherent groove that would define his entire career.

That foundation was solidified by studying under legendary Atlantic Records session master Bernard "Pretty" Purdie (Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Steely Dan) and funk drumming master Chet Doboe. Lee quickly took this world-class pedigree to the stage, touring Florida in the mid-1970s with Sunshine Sound recording artists Twice Is Nice. He later became a fixture in the New York music scene, performing with The Unit, The Crows at the iconic Bitter End, and alongside Ritchie Fliegler (Lou Reed).

After relocating to the Tampa Bay area, Lee spent 27 years anchoring local rock favorites Smoke n Run. Yet, the vision for a massive solo project had been quietly brewing since the 1970s, sparked by a formative night witnessing a solo drummer performing to backing tracks at a Florida bottle club.

After years of meticulous planning, intensive practice, and immersing himself in modern festival culture at massive events like EDC, the Pete Lee solo EDM experience was born.

Today, Lee fuses his decades of funk and rock mastery with modern Dance, Pop, House, and Trance. Performing on a state-of-the-art drum and percussion rig with live vocals—all set to a massive, synchronized video and laser production—Lee delivers a high-octane spectacle designed to do one thing: keep the dance floor moving.
